Alne Charity Tinsel Tractor Run...

Sunday 7th December saw the return of the Alne Charity Tinsel Tractor Run for the third year. This year's chosen charities are Lucy's Legacy and Farm Safety Foundation - Yellow Wellies.

Lucy’s Legacy was created in honour of Lucy Pearson, a farmer's wife from the Ryedale area, who sadly lost her life in September 2024 after suffering with postnatal depression, leaving behind her husband and two young children.

The Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies) are a UK-wide charity who are trying to change farm safety attitudes and behaviours and supporting positive mental health for farmers under 40.

The charity tinsel tractor run was warmly welcomed as they travelled through North Yorkshire, bringing cheer to communities while supporting great charities.
